Limit Your Kids Apple Device Screen Time

Limit Your Kids Apple Device Screen Time

Smartphones have become an essential part of our lives. Kids love them too and are glued to their Apple screens either for playing games or watching cartoons. We ourselves are guilty of a lot of screen time and it’s important to set some boundaries. One needs to set a time limit for ownself and the kids too. If the kids aren’t going outside for any physical activity or fresh air. It means they are stuck with the screens. And for how long? Unfortunately, it has no limits.

Apple lets you use its Screen Time feature for restricting the limitless usage of iPads, Mac, iPhones, and iPod Touch. This built-in feature monitors and keeps track of how much time you spend on the device. It also automatically locks the apps, once you reach the amount of apple device screen time you had set up.

If you are using Mac, go to System Preferences –> Screen Time –> select the child name –> Turn on Screen Time.

Do add a Screen Time Passcode so that your child doesn’t get into the parental control settings.

Check Your Child Screen Time

Turning on apple device screen time will show you a graph. The graph will show how much time is being spent on an app or on a website. You can see the record of the present day and also of the last seven days. You can easily monitor which app was opened how many times in a day and how much time was spent on it.
